Affordable housing

We asked if a lack of suitable or affordable housing had meant that any member of the family had to leave Eastling parish?

For 3.7% of families it HAD been a problem.
For 87.8% it HADN’T.
(8.5% didn’t answer.)

We also asked if this could be a problem for the family in the next 10 years.

12.2% felt it COULD BE.
75.6% DID NOT think it would be a problem.

Pet Ownership

Eastling households seem to be keen on their pets. Over a half have one or more cats and over a third are dog owners. The types of pet reported included:

Recycling

Asked about recycling, over 50 households (out of the 82 in the Survey) said they did. Paper and glass were the main items.

 
     
   
     
  42.7% said they composted garden and vegetable waste. 54.9% said they didn’t.  
 
 
 

Crime

Asked if they or members of their household had been victims of crime in the past 12 months, 14.6% said “YES”, 81.7% said “NO” and 3.7% didn’t answer.

The 14.6% victims experienced the following types of crime.
