Eastling Cherries Short Mat Bowls Club

Meets Wednesday afternoons (2.30pm-4.30pm) during the Winter
and Friday afternoons (2.30pm-4.30pm) and evenings (7.30pm-9.30pm) throughout the year in Eastling Village Hall. Facilities for up to three mats. New beginner and experienced members always welcome.

Eastling Gardeners' Club

Eastling Gardeners' Club meets about four times a year. The meetings are held in Eastling Village Hall, usually on a Wednesday.

Annual membership: £5 per person.

Entry to meetings: free to members and £2.50 for non-members.

 
Eastling Puppet Club

The puppet club provides opportunities for young people to create and perform short plays and sketches at various local venues, such as the School Fete and the Harvest Festival in the church.

The puppets are controlled with rod-arms - rather like the Muppets. Productions are usually humorous but can be serious too. Members meet on alternating Saturdays or Sunday afternoons in Eastling Village Hall. All nine - 16-year-olds are welcome.

Eastling Snooker Club

Facilities, with full-size snooker table, are available to members at Eastling Village Hall.

Fitness Classes

Fitness Classes at Eastling Village Hall. Designed to suit all ages and abilities.

Wednesdays at 7pm: Bums, Legs and Tums - helps to tone and shape these specific areas.

Wednesdays at 8pm: Fit Dance - works on aerobic fitness, using fun dance moves. Helps to control and burn body fat.

Thursdays at 9.15am (during term time): Fitness Pilates - a blend of Pilates and dance exercises. Helps to develop muscle tone, balance, flexibility and relaxation.

Thursdays at 4.15pm: Freestyle Dance Class IDTA - for young people age 8 to 16 years. Come and learn to dance to your favourite chart tunes.

Fees: Classes are £4 each or £7 for a double class on Wednesdays.

Pop-In Social

The "Coffee Pop-in" is held in Eastling Village Hall every Wednesday morning, during school term time, from 9am - 11am. Everyone - young or old - is welcome to drop in for refreshments and a natter. Occasional special items include guest speakers, displays and sales of Traidcraft products and other goods.

Organises annual Christmas Party for Eastling residents over 60 years of age.
